Day 1: Dar Es Salaam to Morogoro by SGR, Then Transfer to Mikumi (Full-Day Game Drive)
Program Of the Day: Your adventure begins with a morning SGR train ride from Dar es Salaam to Morogoro, offering scenic views of rural Tanzania along the way. Upon arrival in Morogoro, your safari guide will pick you up and transfer you by road to Mikumi National Park. After a short briefing and check-in at the park entrance, dive straight into a full-day game drive across the breathtaking savannahs of Mikumi.
This immersive experience takes you through open plains and woodland landscapes, where you will encounter a variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, wildebeests, and more. As the sun sets, you transfer to your lodge for a hot shower, delicious dinner, and a restful night.

Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Mikumi National Park
Program Of the Day: You rise early and depart at 06:30 AM for another thrilling full-day game drive. You will traverse the park’s various ecosystems in search of more iconic African wildlife. The Mkata Floodplain, in particular, offers some of the best wildlife viewing, with regular sightings of big cats, large herds of buffalo, antelope, and even elusive leopards. A packed lunch will be served at a scenic spot inside the park. Later in the afternoon, you will continue exploring before heading back to your lodge in the evening.

Day 3: Visit Masai Village Then Return to Morogoro (SGR Train to Dar Es Salaam)
Program Of the Day: After breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and head for a village tour experience near Mikumi. This cultural excursion provides you with the opportunity to meet residents, explore rural life, and learn about traditional practices and crafts. You will visit local homes, farms, or markets depending on availability. After the tour, you will begin your road transfer back to Morogoro, where you will board the SGR train for your return trip to Dar es Salaam, marking the end of your safari adventure.
