Day 1
Zanzibar to Tarangire National Park
At around 6:00 am (depending on your hotel’s location in Zanzibar), our driver will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha. Upon arrival at 9:15 am, you’ll be greeted by your driver-guide and begin a scenic 1.5-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating stories about Arusha’s history and the rich traditions of the Maasai people.
In the afternoon, enjoy your packed lunch within the park before continuing your game drive. As the day winds down around 4:00 pm you’ll head back to your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and an overnight stay surrounded by nature.
Day 2
Game Drive Ngorongoro Crater and Flight back to Zanzibar
After an early breakfast at 6:00 am, you’ll set off for Ngorongoro for a morning game drive inside the crater, when wildlife is most active and the views are at their best.The game drive concludes in the afternoon, followed by a transfer to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will transfer you to your hotel for a comfortable stay.
